Hi I’m a student and my uncle recently bought me my MacBook Pro about 3months now and I accidentally damaged my screen my placing a cord on top of the keyboard and closing the laptop while the cord was on it and I can’t afford the screen price here so I wanted to ask if there’s any help Apple could offer me help fix or repair my MacBook screen please

do you know what model-year or part number (look on the bottom)? and what screen size?
You may be able to connect an external display or TV set to get a picture, and keep working.
