I am guessing that you are asking about Face ID and iPad, given your question "Does this work with ipad mines" [minis?] seems to have followed your visit to the Use Face ID on your iPhone or iPad Pro document.
Apple's document Set up Face ID on iPad says the models of iPad which support Face ID are:
Models with Face ID
- iPad Pro 11-inch (all generations)
- iPad Pro 12.9-inch (3rd generation and later)
iPhone and iPad models that support Face ID has an identical list, but more specific:
- iPad Pro 12.9-inch (4th generation)
- iPad Pro 12.9-inch (3rd generation)
- iPad Pro 11-inch (2nd generation)
- iPad Pro 11-inch
The iPad Mini is not in this list and does not support Face ID.
Apple has not yet progressed to explosive devices and we should not expect an iPad Mine at any time.
