My Apple AirPods are not charging, I have tried all the recommended steps but still not working. No lights on

Try everything in this link: If your AirPods won’t charge
Note: when you plug in the AirPods case to charge, the light comes on for a few seconds, and then goes off, but the case is still charging.
If no help, the next step is this:
