Washed Out Screen Colors After IpadOS 16.1 Update

I have the same problem with washed out colors which I noticed days after updating my new iPad Pro 12.9 to iPadOS 16.1. I found two things reset colors back to normal, one is switching between light and dark mode and two installing the YouTube app, launching it, then exiting out and re-launching Safari, and opening up a tab and going to YouTube.

This tells me the problem is with Safari.

I even had Apple overwrite my iPadOS and moments ago I had the same issue again and the two tricks above worked. The reason why the issue came back is because days ago I uninstalled the YouTube app, so without it Safari needs YouTube installed to prevent the issue from reaccuring.

If you're seeing video quality issues after updating, you may want to restart your iPad. More info on how to do that here:
