FaceID is not working after update to 15.7.1 iPhone 12Pro

While we have some steps that can help you with this issue, we do want to clarify which iOS you're on. You mentioned that you recently updated to iOS 15.7.1 but the newest iOS that your device can run is iOS 16.1. If you go to:

1: Settings

2: General

3: Software update

Do you see the option to update to 16.1? If so, let's have you do that first.
