Cellular data

I cant connect to mobile data

the message “an update is required to use mobile data on this iphone”

My iphone 13 bought on 1st February is on ios 16.1 the latest


what i have tried

-reseted the network settings and all settings

-updated through the laptop


i went to a apple repair center (unofficial)

they said it was a physical issue and it would’ve been 250-350$ to be made


any suggestions on what to do? Or how to get in contact with a official apple agent

. And how much it would generally cost to fix a network issued problem ( hardware)

Try this:

Remove and reinsert the SIM card.

If it doesn't help contact your carrier, maybe the SIM card is damaged, ask for a replaced (new) card. Normally it is free.

Als ask to check if the SIM tray is bent, as even a tiny misalignment can cause the SIM card to not fully connect with the internal contacts in your iPhone.
