US Input Source looks as "A" on menu bar after upgrade to macOS 13.0 Ventura

Hi,

Since macOS 13.0 was released, the US keyboard layout is now marked as "A", not "US" as before.

As I add a third layout, ABC for instance, the US layout sign changes to "US". But when I delete the ABC keyboard layout, it changes to "A" again.

Tried a clean install, no success.

Is it a bug or just a something new?
