Clicked link in fake FB email

Hi, I got an email that I thought was from Facebook informing me that someone with an iPhone 11 tried to log into my account. So I clicked on the “Report this user” button. A webpage opened with a big 404 Error page. The error page could be a fake.

I’m doing a full Norton scan, but is there anything else I can do to make sure that no spyware or anything else has been uploaded to my laptop? It’s a 2015 MacBook Pro.

MacBook Pro 15″, macOS 10.14

I would not be concerned—I would bone up on more safe internet behavior however

Recognize and avoid phishing messages, phony support calls ...

Third party AntiVirus is not recommended— it typically does nothing but add issues to the macOS and competes directly with Apple’s own built in security:

macOS - Security - Apple macOS - Security - Apple

Apple Platform Security - Apple Apple Platform Security - Apple Support

for your third party app—

if in doubt search the developers website or contact their:

Support/Help/FAQ/Known issues/compatibility/updates/uninstaller
