Spacebar disfunction after Ventura update

After I upgraded to Ventura my spacebar is unusable. Pressing it activates some command like going to menu.

According to karabiner it registers as spacebar, and the same behavior occurs with a virtual and an external kb. My Mac Pro M1 is unusable.

I went over all the keyboard shortcut and replacement I could find on the system (following googling) but found nothing. Monstrously frustrating.

Any help ??
