Hello i was used privaterelay.appleid.com for sing in in one app and i have receicve emails, but i dont know how to check inbox on this email. can you help me?

Which email address is used for verification when using Hide My Email feature? I subscribed to a newsletter using Apples Hide My Email feature. And it is excellent. But I got a email asking me to verify my email from this newsletter. This email from newsletter was sent to my Hide My Email address and Apple forwarded it on to me, and it showed up in my regular email account. There is a verify my email LINK in their email. If I click on this verify link, which email address with be verified? My Hide My Email address or my @iCloud email address?
