Purchase last year. Apple requires a meeting with Genius Bar to get a look at it.
A little frustrating, but I will follow the process.
Irony: I took it in and they looked at it, as it was not working at all.
They did not have a Genius Bar tech available and required an appointment to fit my schedule.
I brought it home, plugged it in, reset the unit and it worked fine. Replace the power supply with another unit, as I misplaced the original supply unit. It was working, but I placed a different power supply from a working HomePod and it started with the flashing orange light of death…. So I placed the power supply on the unit that was working. Same result.
At this point a mystery… Not a power supply issue, but I agree it’s a unit issue. Odd that it worked fine, and now nothing. Seems really particular to work.
Unit will not reset again…
