IOS 16.1 update Sound problems

If the above options do not mitigate the issues then Contact your carrier and then Contact Apple Support

Had support call with Apple, they had me Reset Networking Settings and were supposed to call me back. I did and they didn't. So far it is less frequent but not eliminated. When it happens it is enough to make the call unintelligible. Am going to set up support call again today or tomorrow.

Glad that worked for you but I don't have tiktok so it can't be just that. I started getting choppy audio immediately after upgrading the OS with NO OTHER CHANGES. Same network, same physical location...same everything. The choppy sound persists now on call audio. I am convinced there is a problem in the upgrade.
