You are unable to do this directly from the Apple Watch app on the family members watch but on there watch they can hold anywhere on the current watch face then it should show an edit button then swipe right and it should show a plus sign click that then follow as prompted on the watch

Thanks so much for the help. That worked just fine. My wife is very happy to have these options on her wrist. The watch has so much info that has to be found out after you purchase it. It's got so much stuff tucked into such a small foot print. It has to be experienced, its not all intuitive. Thanks for the help again.
