i need to back up 3 iphones to a external hard drive how do i do that

hello community hope everyone is doing well.

I have 3 different iphones that I need to back up for upgrades and want to back them up to an external hard drive. having trouble can someone help. backing up to a Buffalo LS220D networked NAS drive.
