how to delete emails across all devices at the same time
iCloud email should be synchronising across all your devices, provided they are all signed into the same iCloud account. Is this not happening?
Apple has some suggestions to try in If you can’t send or receive emails on your Mac to resolve sync problems.

If you are using iCloud mail, or any other IMAP email service - which includes most online mail - then your email will synchronise between all your devices. If it isn't syncing it may be possible to turn non this feature. Which email service are you using?
Sorry I did not make myself clear... I am able to receive e-mails across all devices.... the problem is when I delete them off my iPhone they do not delete from my laptop or iPad. (I have to go to each device and delete manually)
That is what David was trying to explain about IMAP, if you delete an eMail on one device it should delete it on all, if you read an eMail on one it should show read on all, etc.
On Mac, in Mail>Preferences>Accounts, does it say POP or IMAP under the account name?
Thanks I understood clearly what David was saying.....but all my e- mail accounts are IMAP.... anyway out of frustration I call Apple a few minutes ago and this is their explain.....Even though I have IMAP and I am able to send and receive mail across all devices.......I will not be able to delete across all devices because I am using a third party email.......as per Apple rep. for me to be able to delete e-mail across all devices at at once (which is what I would like to do) I would have to use apple email ...@iCloud.com or @me.com. Therefore I have to delete email individually on each device.
You were provided incorrect information or you did not understand what you were told. It does not matter what email provider/service you use. IMAP is IMAP across all email servers/providers.
BDAqua provided you the correct information.
Perhaps you nave moved your emails to a location on your device that is not synchronized with email.
Thanks everyone for you input....but there was no misunderstanding that is what I was told by the Apple rep. I really think it has to do with me having some incorrect setting... I will just have to go and talk with the "genius " at the store.. when I get sometime. Cheers!!
iCloud mail
not solved
Hmmm, I have several non-Apple eMail addies and IMAP deletes on all devices for me!???
This advice supposedly from Apple is not correct.
You also said you were using iCloud mail and also said you were using 'a third party email'.
David is correct.
Good luck my friend! :)
