iOS 16 - parental controls / Ask to Buy not available to turn off
My son is now 17 and I want to turn off App Approval - I've tried looking this up and have been completely unsuccessful. There are hundreds of posts clearing showing how to navigate to settings
- Open the Settings app.
- Tap your name.
- Tap Family Sharing.
- Tap Ask to Buy.
- Tap your family member's name.
- Use the toggle to turn on or turn off Ask to Buy.
But I don't have an "Ask to Buy" option anywhere under his name. I'm the organizer, my wife is a Parent / Guardian, and my son's status is "Adult" - but there is no option here for Ask to Buy. Running iOS 16 - any ideas? I'm very technical - yet can't figure this out - so frustrating.
