I am planning to buy an Apple Watch ultra from the US

One of my friends will bring it to me in India

wanted to confirm if the model would work with Indian 5G bands ?

Do Apple Watches not come with an unlock feature just like iPhones ?

people report no, like the older models it will only function as a gps model if purchased in usa, mexico or canada and one attempt to use it elsewhere
