imessage

I have sold my old iMac to a person who don't have iPhone. When a send him a message it don't show up on his android phone but on my old iMac. He has used the procedure from Apple to turn off iMessage on the iMac, but it's still the same :( . Please help?

iMessage won't delete on iPhone When I delete an iMessage on iPhone it automatically deletes the message in my MacBook Air. On the other hand, when I delete the message from the MacBook it DOES NOT delete it in the iPhone. Both devices have the same Apple ID and password and they have both activated iCloud services. I have factory reset both devices and still the problem continues. I have also turn on and off the iCloud sync on both devices. It is something strange coming from the MacBook Air M2. Messages on two devices I just have a theory as to what's going on, but I could use some help. I typically only text from an iPad with this Apple ID. However, I recently logged into messages with that Apple ID on a Mac. A couple days later, during which I didn't text from the iPad, I tried to send a text from it and I got a send message failure alert. I honestly just assumed the person had blocked me on accident, but she didn't. I tried texting several people with same results. My wi-fi's fine, I have excellent connection, and I'm still getting emails and notifications from other apps. I figured it would be the same from the Mac, but I checked and realized I'd received several texts which came through on the computer but not the tablet. Also, I can send texts from the computer with no problem. I thought maybe if I logged out of my Apple ID from messages on the computer, but it seems there's no way to do that without logging out from everything on the computer. Any help? Thanks! Banter

Help with iMessage issue Within the past week, Apple required me to change my password, which I did. I then went through all my devices (iMac, MBP, iPhone, iPad), and entered iCloud using the new password. But as of right now, when I text with iMessage on my iMac, the text isn't showing up in my iOS devices, and when I text with iMessage on my iOS devices, it's not showing up on my OS devices. I've gone through and tried to make sure Messages is on with all the devices. Any suggestions?

Sounds like you did not properly prepare the old iMac before selling it.
