I consulted 4 different iPhone repair shops, after they checked my iPhone, the answer was the same, A year ago my iPhone had the same problem, the repair department said that the device to receive the signal was weak, maybe some kind of antenna, but at that time it was not repaired and was good with alone
Well, since the iPhone 6 is well out of warranty, unless you are willing to pay for repairs (if it’s able to be repaired) it’s probably time to consider replacing it with a new or refurbished model.
Good luck.
Repair costs are not commensurate with the results. Unfortunately, the life of the iPhone is only 5 years, which means that there is a lot of garbage scattered around the world. Thank you for the discussion
Well, let's cut to the bottom line. Third party repair shops told you the IMEI is blocked. Your carrier said they did not block it. Apple does not block IEMIs, only carriers can do that. You are unwilling to pay for repairs and do not want to replace the device. So where does that leave you?
Good luck.
p.s. You might contact your carrier and ask for a replacement SIM card. The one in your iPhone could have gone bad. You could replace that yourself.
Ask your carrier. Apple doesn’t blacklist devices, the carriers do.
I’ve talk to the Telkomsel Cellular operator, No Problem. So the problem is not in the operator
Well, the problem is definitely NOT Apple. Apple does NOT blacklist devices.
Who told you the IMEI is blocked?
I came to iPhone cellular repair Shop in Jakarta Indonesia, for different workahop Said that IMEI was BLOCKED
It’s likely they don’t know what they are talking about or whatever they told you is being lost in translation.
What is the exact problem you’re having that you took it to them to begin with?
I've changed the sim card to a new one.
