How to make my ringtone loud?

I want my new iPhone ringtone loud..It is sooooo annoying to have sound/volume low even it’s at high volume already

Volume on iPhone X ringtone I recently noticed that the ringtone volume does not decrease when I hold my phone. I don't know if this issue persists since installing iOS12. It rings at the same volume the entire time. Anyone else having the same problem?
