Is there a way to mark a contact as favorite on Laptop (NOT iPhone)
I like the concept of using favorites but I can find any way to maintain other than on iPhone. Am I missing something? Why is this not supported on my mac laptop?

The only thing I see is for the iPhone. I don't see an analogous service for macOS. I guess maybe for Messages, but you can pin conversations.
Perhaps it could be useful for FaceTime.
