Am I able to record (not take) my Blood Pressure numbers on Apple Watch 7?

I have looked and looked and I keep coming up with posts about how Apple is going to add a blood pressure monitor to new watches in the next year or so. That's not what I am asking. I want to know how I can record my daily blood pressure numbers (BP taken on a regular cuff) somewhere on the watch without an additional app. I can record it on my phone under Health App but can't seem to find a way to do it solely on the watch. Anyone?

Apple Watch Series 7, watchOS 9

Hi DawnLash,

Thanks for coming to Apple Support Communities for help today.

This isn't a feature of the Apple Watch that you are describing. Typically there would be a smart blood pressure cuff and the manufacturer will have their own app that you can download in the App Store. Depending on the app, there may or may not be a version for the Apple Watch as well as the iPhone. The data syncs to the app from the cuff and you can then give the app permission to write the data into the Health app on your iPhone. You can find information on how to do this here: Manage Health data on your iPhone, iPod touch, or Apple Watch

"Add information from other apps

  1. Open the Health app.
  2. Tap your profile picture in the upper-right corner
  3. Under Privacy, tap Apps. You can see apps that you already own that are compatible with Health. If you don't see an app, it might not be compatible.
  4. Tap an app and turn on the health categories that you want that app to track.

You might also need to open the app and adjust its settings to allow it to share data with Health. "

Have a fantastic day!
