iPhone unavailable

how to get out of iPhone unavailable mode without erasing phone. I put the incorrect password in too many times and now it is locked it.

You need to erase your phone then reload your most recent backup. See if this helps: How to remove your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch passcode without a computer - Apple Support
