No matter what I do I can’t seem to send a message to an android phone

No matter what I do I cannot text an android phone I’m at a loss hear any help?

iPhone 13 Pro, iOS 15

Messages to non-iPhone use your carrier’s SMS (text) and MMS (picture) service. SMS requires a voice network connection, and MMS requires that cellular data be turned on. SMS/MMS cannot use Wi-Fi. In addition, go to Settings/Messages and turn on the switch for MMS. If you don’t see an MMS switch your carrier has not provisioned your account correctly; contact their tech support to get this remedied.
