MacBook Pro OS upgrade

I'm running El Capitan,10.12.6 on an Intel based MacBook Pro from 2011. It doesn't seem to want to upgrade. What are my options. Thank you

A mid 2010 through late 2011 MacBook Pro can be upgraded to High Sierra 10.13.6 but no later version. See: How to download macOS - Apple Support
