Adding back devices to HomeKit

I recently had three Leviton switches go “No response”. Tried restarting my network and power cycling switches at breaker box with no luck.

So I removed from homekit and tried to add back in using standard “add accessory” method but no luck. They would go from fast green blink (ready to add) to slow green blink (connected) to slow amber (trying to connect). Always timed out in homeKit.

I then put switches back into pairing mode, found them in my wi-fi settings, clicked and got pop up “do you want to add to wifi and home”. Said ok, they added to network then went back to homekit, went through “add accessory” and it worked almost instantly (which makes sense since they were already connected to network).

FYI I have 4 eero (2nd-gen) as my mesh network.

Anybody else run into something like this??
