Dent on Laptop in first 2 months of owning ?

I have a dent on my laptop that is by a fan. I bought the laptop on the 14th September does the apple coverage that comes with new laptops for the first year cover this type of damage

Tiny dent on the screen of my 16" Macbook pro M1 Max 2021 I recently noticed a tiny dent on the screen of my 16" Macbook Pro M1 Max 2021. When I say tiny I mean its the size of a pinhead, initially i thought it was a fleck of dust but upon closer inspection i can see its a tiny dent. I've taken great care since owning this laptop by cleaning the screen and keyboard before I close it. Ive seen on reddit alot of people talking about this but has anyone else had this problem? If so did you take it in and get it repaired? I've owned Macbooks for years and never had this happen before, maybe the quality of the screen is different on this one.

MacBook Pro (2021) dent issue, hesitant on scheduling an appointment Hello! I am writing this question in an attempt to receive advice on my situation. I have a dent along with a couple chipped off parts on the bare aluminum case of the MacBook Pro I own. My belief currently is that I bumped the device into a wall while it was in a plastic protective shell bought from a physical Apple store location. I was wondering about if Apple will even consider looking into this considering how tiny the damage is. I also got informed recently that AppleCare+ does not cover cosmetic/accidental damage which is disappointing to hear. This OCD issue I am having is giving myself a difficult time about this. Is this worth setting an appointment up for or not? Shall I look at it as an example of patina (the beauty of imperfection and deterioration/worn out) then living with it? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you! Below are photos of the damaged site and the shell case I had previously equipped on the MacBook Pro:

AppleCare+ (Apple Care Plus) includes "... accidental damage protection, each subject to a service fee of $99 for screen damage or external enclosure damage, or $299 for other accidental damage, plus applicable tax."
