„Important … message“ notification

Hey guys!

I rarely write something up but this time I couldn’t find a definitive solution for my problem anywhere so I am looking into getting some guidance here and appreciate your input.

I have an iPhone 12 Pro running on iOS 16.1 currently that I have repaired myself. Please kindly do not judge me for doing a self repair. It has been done the proper way with a genuine display and battery, but not through the self repair program.

I have installed a verified genuine new display and a genuine battery. I know that the iOS will prompt an „important display/ battery message“ notification on the settings app and I know that it is supposed to go away after a certain amount of time (15 days), only to be seen in Settings -> General.

So far about 5 weeks have passed and I still see the notification badge on my settings app icon. When I open it, I see the notifications that lead me via link to a page on apple.com but I cannot swipe them away or clear them in any way. The badge is somewhat annoying and it would be great to not be stuck with it forever.

I highly appreciate your advice / ideas!
