Hey robandbrew,

You may be seeing duplicate Calendar events if you have Calendars enabled for multiple email accounts that are set up on your device.

We'd recommend reviewing the information in this article as it explains how to check for Calendar accounts that are set up on your iPhone: Set up multiple calendars on iPhone - Apple Support

"Set a default calendar

You can set one of your calendars as the default calendar. When you add an event using Siri or other apps, it’s added to your default calendar.

  1. Go to Settings  > Calendar > Default Calendar.
  2. Select the calendar you want to use as your default calendar.

Set up iCloud, Google, Exchange, or Yahoo calendar accounts

  1. Go to Settings  > Calendar > Accounts > Add Account.
  2. Do any of the following:
    • Tap a mail service (iCloud, Microsoft Exchange, or Google, for example), then sign in.
    • Tap Other, tap Add CalDAV Account or Add Subscribed Calendar, then enter your server and account information.

"
