Anyone tried to transfer contents of iPad to second iPad?
Hours spent - all wasted. Second ipad revealed it could ‘not transfer’ after I spent lots of time following complicated instructions. Now wants Apple YouTube link ????

Transfering data and settings between iPads is relatively straightforward. “Transfer” is rather a misnomer as, in reality, your data and setup are merely cloned to the new device. Nothing is moved or removed from the original device.

If the donor iPad, from which you are transferring your data precedes iOS12.4, QuickStart will not be available.
