Can’t access family sharing

I’m trying to add my family to family sharing so we can share apple one perks, but every time I click the family sharing option in settings it says that I’m already in a family with someone and takes me back to settings… So I can’t leave the family. And the person who it says I have a family with can’t access that account anymore. How can I remove myself from that family without being able to access my family sharing?
