I would discourage the use of a beta with any device you need to work, with any data you need to be available, and with any Apple ID and associated iCloud data you need to remain accessible. Betas can and have caused issues and crashes and corruptions. Using a beta on “spare” hardware and “spare” data is best, and fine, though.
