Been on the phone for over an hour and a half for a very simple task! Redeem my apple gift card to my apple account. i can check the balance but it wont allow me to redeem my money!
When i try to redeem my money, it gives me this:

The card doesnt state what type of card is it! On back of my card, it is stated
Apple Store (with the PIN number)
Add to the Wallet app on your iOS devixe
For use only at U.S. Apple Retail and Online Store or 1-800-MY-APPLE... etc.
From the above statement, It's not clear what kind/type is my gift card and where can i apply it! Regadless, i'm able to see the balance but still unable to do any online purchases or redeem it to my account!
That card can only be redeemed into and spent in the hardware stores, not in the Mac App Store or anything else that uses the iTunes Store system.
Smilin-Brian: For reference, recent cards sold in the USA and several other countries are interchangeable. ihamieh has an older one.
