My MacBook Pro 14 inch battery maximum capacity is 97%• is that normal or it should be 100% and what will it be when we buy new one

The Condition should tell if it is "Normal" or Needs Service....



batteries are consumable and wear out, no...?


Unless it is below 80 % of its design capacity you have a 1-yr warranty, and an expected 1000 cycle count.

A rule of thumb —if you are near the mains leave it plugged in, if you need the portability then run on battery only.
