You can check the IMEI here→CTIA Stolen Phone Checker but note that the CTIA IMEI blacklist is not honored worldwide, so it is no guarantee. And there is no way to find the purchase date or country from the IMEI. The Model number can tell you where the phone was intended to be sold, but won’t guarantee that it isn’t a gray market phone. The serial number can tell you when it was manufactured, but not when it was sold.
