iOS 16.1 calendar search

My iOS 16.1 calendar search no longer returns any results - even for search words that I know have events such as “call” or “mum”.

This bug was definitely introduced in 16.1.

I use an iPhone XS.

Let's rule out some other possible causes to this occurring with Search in Calendar:

  1. Sometimes unexpected behavior can be resolved with a restart: Restart your iPhone
  2. Are we correct in understanding it was working without any issues on earlier iOS 16 versions?
  3. If you put in the entire name of an event into Calendar search, does the same issue occur?
