Apple Pencil 2 battery level dropping after restarting ipad

Every time I restart my iPad (air 5), my Apple Pencil 2 drops from 100% to 88% and sometimes lower. The IPadOS is updated (16.), but I notice this since 15.6. Does anyone else experienced this issue? Both my iPad and Apple Pencil have less than 6 months of use.

Pencil's battery drains automatically even when it's attached to the iPad I have been observing something weird happening with my Pencil. Suppose my Pencil is at 50%. I attach it to my iPad at night. The Pencil starts charging once I attach it to the iPad. The next morning I wake up, the battery's full. Now Suppose my Pencil is at 100%. I attach it to my iPad at night. It doesn't charge as its already full. The next morning I wake up, the Pencil has drained completely! Its at 0%! I tried to keep Bluetooth for a whole night. Still, the battery drains completely! Is there any problem with my Pencil? Or am I doing something wrong? Please suggest me a solution to this problem and help me!

Apple Pencil 2nd Gen Battery Keeps Draining Even It Is Docked to my iPad I'm encountering that my Apple Pencil 2nd Gen battery keeps draining while not in use even though it is docked on my iPad all the time. For example, when my Pencil is fully charged at night, then the next morning the Pencil battery is down to zero, so I need to re-attach it to trigger the charging again. Is this expected? I'm frustrated every time I'm going to use it in the morning, I need to wait for the Pencil to charge.
