Captain Plugins with GarageBand

I had the same question about using Captain Plugins with GarageBand on macOS as mentioned in this 2021 discussion:

After installing Captain Plugins, I got this to work by copying the Captain Plugins folder from Library/Application Support/ to Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/ and then starting GarageBand.

Garageband & Interfaces I have a Behringer U phoria interface I hooked it up to my MacBook Air up until I did that I am using a M-Audio interface on my MacBook Pro. So this morning I plug in the USB for my M-Audio into MP.A window opens interface last used not available M-Audio is so I go ahead and set up a guitar track can see green in track but nor master the top one.So I close it and restart plug in all it shows is USB-CODEC that's the Berringer now it will not recognize M-Audio. I turned off GarageBand in iCloud nothing.Can anyone help?

Can't load Garageband I understand that I can use Garageband to digitize my LP collection. However, when I went to the App Store to download Garage band I got the message "GarageBand can’t be installed on “Bob's MacPro” because macOS version 11 or later is required." I don't understand why since I am using 10.13.6. What is wrong or what am I doing wrong? I own the LP's and do not intend to sell or give them away. I just want to listen to them on my current equipment.

Audio Units Preference missing garageband 11 - Mojave 10.14.6 Under Preferences > Audio/Midi I see no option to enable Audio Units This is what I should see: This is what I do see - the option is missing: System Details: Garageband 11 version 6.0.5 Mojave 10.14.6 Ultimately I am trying to use a plugin, but I can't get the plugin to show up under my instruments without enabling this option from what I understand
