MacBook Pro running Ventura can't get connection to TV using HDMI cable.

Deleting the prefs files & restarting did not solve the issue

Before Ventura, I didn't have this issue with any other apple system. I am using the apple Hdmi adapter. I think it's really crazy that the only fix is to downgrade.

Perhaps it is time to discuss your situation with Apple support, and get them to fix it for you OR file a bug report to get it in the Queue for fixing:

I did speak with Apple support. They couldn't fix it over the phone (obviously). They wanted me to re-install Ventura. I tried to get them to file a bug report.

Why aren't there more users complaining about this?

I filed a bug report when I found out it wasn't working which was right after the update. It was 5 months ago. Each time there is an update, I try again... only to find out that it's still not fixed.

That is a problem of macOS 13 Ventura (not previous versions) with Panasonic TV. Described here:

I have already done that. Hopefully, they will fix it soon.

Still no fix for connecting Apple Mac Book pro to a Panasonic TV, All other are Ok.

Common Apple you know this is an issue and you still haven't fixed it.

This puts you right up there with Microsoft for being crap.

You are not addressing Apple when you post here. Readers are other Users like you.

Apple makes no promise to even read these User-to-User forums, and never responds here except when your post goes completely un-answered.

You need to address your complaints to Apple Support, and do not give up until they have filed a Bug Report on your behalf.

Or supply Apple feedback on the site already referenced.

This is true macOS Ventura Bug. Apple, please, fix it in Ventura, since some Macs cannot be further upgraded to newer macOS versions.

The problem continues with Ventura 13.4 - my MacBook Pro 13-inch 2018 does not recognise the Panasonic TV.

The cables and set-up still work perfectly and instantly with the iPad Air.
