HDR video exports light whether coming from Standard or Wide Gamut; it used to be ok

Hi

Running OS 12.6.1 on my mid-2015 MBP, using latest FCPX.

Editing HDR iPhone clips. Doesn't matter if project is Standard (with HLG color space), or Wide Gamut, the export is too light. This wasn't happening before.

Example below:

Any ideas on getting exports that match my Project's appearance?

Hi Tom,

Thanks for the reply!

Doesn't matter which, SD or HDR, but let's say SD, if you need one. For internet.

Media: 4K, 30fps, HEVC

Display: Color LCD for MBP, but also using BenQ which says color profile is GW2765. They look ppretty similar.

Project Properties

Export Properties

Ah, I used H.264 for small file size. But just tried exporting prores and it was much more like what I was looking at in FCP's Viewer.

Hope this helps.
