Could I get malware from a gif on Twitter?

So I was on Twitter and I’m mostly carefull for malware. So I never click links or play gifs. But In Twitter it automatically plays the gif. And I saw a gif of 18+ stuf and I was grossed out so much. So I just Turned Twitter of. But randomly it came up to me that maby it could have malware. So I scanned (with bitdefender) my iphone and it said clean. But I just didn’t know. So could I have malware from a gif on Twitter?

No. Playing a GIF is never an issue, and clicking a malicious link would only itself be a malware issue on Windows; they're more likely to mislead people into giving them personal information instead.
