Apple Mail

Problems:

1)Contents of mail not being loaded.

2)When clicking on a new/unread message, content is "loading" but not opening. Unable to mark message as "read."Blue dot never goes away.

3) When I delete message it goes to Trash, but when I delete it from Trash it reappears in the Inbox as an unread message.


I've done the following and mail is still messed up:

Restarted mail app

Restarted Mac

Shut down Mac & tested mail in Safe Mode

Ran First Aid in Disk Utility


Suggestions? Should I use CleanMyMacX? Hire a tech?

No. <CleanMyMacX> this is known to be problematic—excellent marketing campaigne with a strong wallet magnet...


Uninstall all third party apps that are Cleaners/Optimizers/VPN/Anti-Virus

all known to cause issues on the macOS
