Replacing just the full glass front of a blue 2021 iMac 24

My iMac M1 24 fell and the front has several cracks. The computer still works good, it's mainly a cosmetic issue at this point. Will the cracks continue to get worse (like on a windshield of a car)? Is there a way to just replace the glass front and not the whole display? Apple seems to be the only local repair shop willing to repair it and they have quoted $600 for the full display replacement. It doesn't need that extensive of a repair. How can I proceed?

The glass is permanently fused to the display which is a major component of the iMac. If you bought AppleCare then you likely have one instance of accidental coverage. If you did not buy AppleCare then you have a major out of pocket expense. You will need to contact AppleCare to get an appointment setup to see how much any repairs will cost.
