Hello AshishKallur,

Since not all apps support screen rotation, see if the screen rotates as expected when using the Messages application. This will help to isolate the behavior as Messages supports rotation between landscape and portrait mode. Additionally, ensure Rotation Lock is off. Check out those suggestions here:

Rotate the screen on your iPad - Apple Support

"How to rotate the screen on your iPad

  1. Make sure that Rotation Lock is off: Swipe down from the top-right corner of your screen to open Control Center. Then tap the Rotation Lock button  to make sure it's off.
  2. Turn your iPad sideways.

If the screen still doesn't rotate, try a different app like Safari or Messages, which work in landscape mode, and check to see if your iPad has a side switch."

To further isolate the behavior, see if the issue continues when using AssistiveTouch via the steps below:

  1. Tap Settings > Accessibility > Touch > AssistiveTouch
  2. Turn AssistiveTouch On
  3. Open an application that utilizes device rotation, such as the Camera app
  4. Tap the AssistiveTouch icon (the dot that appeared on the screen)
  5. Tap Device > Rotate Screen
  6. Test and see if the screen rotates to each of the options (Portrait, Right, Upside Down & Left)
