iMessage on MacBook corrupted after Ventura upgrade, iPhone and iPad messages are fine.

Hi, strange problem. I installed Ventura before going away for a week. Came back and everything was fine for a day, then I noticed that iMessage on my MacBook was going wonky. Messages threads were getting combined and messages were shown under the wrong names. On my iPad and iPhone everything was fine. Saw a previous topic where this was addressed for Monterey and did the same steps.

I turned off "Enable Message in iCloud" (only on the Mac, not the other devices) and signed out. I deleted the Messages folder and the files "com.apple.imessage.plist" and "com.apple.imessage.bag.plist." Emptied the trash, rebooted and turned everything back on again. No luck. Everything was still corrupted but iPhone and iPad were still fine. Thanks in advance!

I am having the same issue, I rebuild the index in the spotlight, but it keeps getting corrupt for iMessage. I've done it 10 times, turned off indexing, turned it on, rebooted, and tried all the fixes online, even used command line to rebuild the index (and it does it). It works for a day or so, then becomes corrupted again where iMessage will not have search capabilities on Venture OSX; there is definitely a problem and it's not user related, it's something software related.
