I second Bob's comment. Are you able to send email messages? Do you have internet access? If so, what happens is that your computer has to connect to the email service provider's web site and request that emails be sent.This is done after connecting and then sending your user ID and password. These items must be received correctly when a specified period of time or the connection is disconnected. Apparently some of the data bering sent is incorrect for some reason. Go into your email app's Preferences and very carefully check what information is being sent. It must exactly match what is on the web site's information.
