My iPhone 12ProMax wont show 5GHz network. After resetting the Network settings it suddenly appears. After connecting it, it suddenly disappears again. If i check the saved passwords it shows me there but wont connect. Same problem on 14promax of my dad’s except iphone XS Max of my brother.

If Wi-Fi will not connect as expected
· Reset the router to factory settings (menu or paper clip) – even if all other devices connect OK!
· On iphone Settings, General, Transfer iphone or reset, reset, reset network settings
· If you have a VPN you are strongly recommended to uninstall it and its profile in Settings, General, VPN and device management
If you are on ios16 try Settings, privacy & security, location services, system services and turn off Networking & Wireless.

Just tried it again and it worked. It was probably the location services setting which you told me to turn off. I have been struggling with it for quite long now and i am so happy it finally worked all because of your help. Thank you means a lot! 😁
No VPN or ad-blocker?
No it didn’t work.
Whenever i reset the network settings. The network appears ( Sardar 5ghz ) and once I connect with it, it will work. But after a while it will disappear again and won’t show up.
I’m standing right new to my router. I tried everything and even i have my Networking and wireless turned off as i was told.
If I click edit , it will show my network ( Sardar 5ghz ) but still i won’t be able to connect.
Same problem on my Dad’s iPhone 14pro max
All the models that came after the iphone Xs won’t show the 5ghz. I also have another router of a different company and it won’t work as well.
Also, This problem occurred after I updated my iphone from iOS 15 to iOS 16.
