Ultra Wayfinder face bug

I love the Wayfinder face, but have found that a few days after uploading a new instance of that face, the Today's Date setting for the Sub-dial Top reverts to compass degrees and there is no way to get it back to Today's Date without uploading a new instance of that face.

When you have this face active on your watch, tap the center white circle to return the watch to not reporting elevation (in other words, do not leave it on all the time) and let us know if the date returns as it should. I believe what you think is a bug, is actually normal operation. There really isn't a reason to have your watch constantly checking elevation.

Try completing the following steps from your Apple Watch itself, to customize this complication.

1: With the watch face showing, touch and hold the display, then tap Edit.

2: Swipe left all the way to the end.

You'll find complications on the last screen.

3: Tap the complication to select it, then turn the Digital Crown to choose a new one—Today's Date, for example.

4: When you’re finished, press the Digital Crown to save your changes, then tap the face to switch to it.

You can find these steps along with other information you may find helpful, here: Customize the watch face

Cheers!
