Accessing without erasing
My 13 year son will not unlock his phone for me, its an iphone xr I want to access it without erasing everything.
iPhone XR, iOS 15
If he won't give you the passcode, you have no other options except to erase the phone.

Perhaps if he won’t unlock it for you he shouldn’t have it. He can live with a dumb flip phone for emergencies.
