Apple Classroom

My students all use ipads and with my teacher-issued ipad I can successfully monitor and use apple classroom. However, on my laptop (new 2022 MacBook air M2 version 12.6 and updated 13.0) I have signed in with the correct credentials and many of the controls are greyed out and all my students show "offline"? I tried a second teacher's ipad and laptop and they are also dealing with the same issue, so it looks to be something related to the laptop connectivity with the MDM and not the user?

Please Help.

MacBook Air, macOS 12.6

Hey hrnsmath,

Apple Classroom is a product that is supported by the Apple Business and Education group. They have specialists who should be able to provide you with details on how to get started. You can Get Support from them using this link. Prior to doing that, you may want to check with any localized IT professional based at the school or school system you use, as they'll likely have specifics as far as how your MDM is set up, as they'll likely be able to provide a more direct list of steps to try or configuration changes to make. However, if needed, use the link above to reach Apple directly.

Take care.
